Who owns Caruso Automotive Group, and how did the family get started in the car business?
Caruso Automotive is a multi-generation, family-owned dealership group, led today by Rick Caruso. The family's roots in the car business go back to Rick's father, Henry "Hank" Caruso, who acquired new-car dealerships and in 1966 founded Dollar Rent-A-Car.
The family acquired Pacific Ford in Long Beach in 1985 and added Long Beach Lincoln in 1992. In 2012, the family renamed those stores Caruso Ford and Caruso Lincoln.
